Granite Ridge Construction is a company that believes in and operates with integrity and accountability. We have over 35 years experience in home remodels and construction and strive for excellence in all that we do! We also offer free estimates and consultations.

Together, husband and wife team Ralf and Kat Stevens operate Granite Ridge Construction.

Kat Stevens

Kat grew up in Idaho and moved to Alaska at the age of 17. She has lived in California, Mississippi, and Colorado. Her background is in grocery retail, banking, and health care management. Kat has always enjoyed doing home decor and remodeling and is addicted to HGTV! She loves to see the transformation.

Ralf Stevens

Ralf was raised on the Oregon Coast in Gold Beach. He grew up hunting and fishing and was curious about how things worked, often tearing things apart to put them back together again. His father served one 4-year term in the Army and was a lumberjack for years, later becoming a Pastor. Ralf moved to eastern Oregon at age 18 and worked with his father in the timber industry for a while before settling down, getting married and raising four kids. He worked for two ophthalmology practices for 35 years as an Optician and Ophthalmalic Assistant as well as running the lasik program and assisting in lasik and cataract surgeries. And of course, Ralf was the office handyman!

He has always done construction as a second job to help pay for vacations and extra things wanted or needed prior to moving to the midcoast Maine region.

Ralf loves doing just construction! All of his construction jobs are from word-of-mouth referrals. He has a reputation of being honest and trustworthy and functions with common sense.
